2017 Wildlife Photo Contest

Eastern Timber Wolf, Canis lupus lycaon, Algonquin Provincial Park, Canada
On The Hunt

Species: Eastern Timber Wolf, Canis lupus lycaon | Location: Algonquin Provincial Park, Canada

While camping deep in the backwoods of Algonquin Park we had heard some rustling in the tree line. After going into the brush to see if we could see anything I had spotted 5 wolves. This was one of the most amazing encounters I have ever had with wildlife, they had stuck around for less then 5 minutes before taking off through the woods.

About The Photographer

I am new to the Photography world and just finished a 3 year double diploma college course in order to better my skills. I had fallen in love with photography as a young child and have always had a thing for the outdoors so why not put the two together. My dream is to one day photograph Grizzly, Polar and Kermode Bears with the hopes of one day being published by a large reputable magazine. For the time being I just hope that my little hobby puts a smile on peoples faces and helps me make a few dollars to eventually reach my dream.
