Surprise!
Species: Flying fish, head of sea turtle | Location: Pacific ocean off coast of Ecuador, Ecuador
Sunset from the deck of a cruise ship. No land visible. I was trying to photograph large sea turtles in the distance. Look carefully and you'll see the head of one. Unexpectedly a flying fish flew out of the water at the very moment I pressed the shutter button.
