This is a photograph of a dragonfly at Starved Rock National Park in Illinois. I was there for the first time taking scenic/landscape photographs. I was pleased with my photos while scrolling through my camera viewing them. I felt as though something was next to me I looked to my side and down. There was this beautiful dragonfly in no hurry to leave. So much so I slowly stood up and walk away while it just stayed on the rock. Due to this fact I was able to capture a variety of images. Truly wonderful first trip to Starved Rock National Park.
