mallard duck, High Park Toronto, Canada
afternoon shade

Species: mallard duck | Location: High Park Toronto, Canada

was in High Park Toronto when I found this mother duck having a nap with her baby ducklings. She seemed to be providing shade for them and they were all snuggled up underneath her. Got a couple pics from a distance and quietly moved on, she never knew I was there but I think the one little duck saw me : )

About The Photographer

I am an ameteur photographer who lives in Toronto. I love to retreat to nature whenever I can, whether its wild spaces within the city or places like Algonquin park in the summer, to see animals in their natural habitat.
