About The Photographer

My name is Pat Griffin and I am a photographer living in the Fraser Valley of beautiful British Columbia. I acquired my first 35mm SLR camera in the early 1980’s when I started enjoying and advancing in a hobby of shooting images on film. I now capture images on a Nikon DSLR, with my preference to capturing wildlife in their natural habitat. In this past year, I became a finalist in several photo contests. The “2016 Nature Canada Photo Contest” sponsored by Naturecanada.ca. The “2016 Next Generation Amateur Photographer of the Year”, sponsored by Black Press and London Drugs, which awarded me with an invitation to shoot the 2016 Abbotsford International Air show. I have also been chosen “Amateur Winner” in the “Celebrating Freedom Contest” sponsored by Viewbug.com out of 15,405 entries with an image I captured at the 2016 Abbotsford International Air Show, as well as the Winner in “Graves and Graveyards” and “Crows” Photo Challenge also sponsored by Viewbug. Living in the Fraser Valley as well as owning a cabin in the southern interior of British Columbia gives me the opportunity to use my passion for photography and my love for nature and the outdoors to create fine art nature and wildlife images for your home or office wall decor.
