There was a family of Green Herons here in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, 3 years ago, and I was lucky enough to follow them around most of the summer and fall. We haven't seen them since. This is just one of my favourite shots of one of the Adults.

I just got into photography a few years ago, and am still a novice. But I love the outdoors, and love catching wildlife on camera. Sometimes I get lucky, and being in the right spot at the right time means everything.
