One morning while out on a drive in Savuti area of Botswana we saw a young male leopard looking for food. We followed and watched as he scavenged for food. Finally he tired out and went up into a tree to rest. We were able to photograph him as he watched indifferent to our presence.
About The Photographer
Through photography I have found my passion for life. Experiencing the grandeur of nature, the many sounds, smells, and behaviors of wildlife in their natural habitat is a thrill beyond description. I have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to visit wildlife in their natural homes, without any invitation.
I am lifelong Midwesterner, currently living along the Mississippi River on the Iowa and Illinois state border. I had various involvement with photography starting in the 1970’s, and continue to improve my skills over the years.
