Female Mallard duck, NJ backyard, United States of America
Phyllis

Species: Female Mallard duck | Location: NJ backyard, United States of America

The reason this duck is named Phyllis is even though she is a wild duck she returns to my pond every year. How do I know it is the same duck? Well, as you can see in the photo she has an old wound on her head. But, the best part of the story is that this year she came back with a male. Hoorah for Phyllis.
