The day I received delivery of my brand new Canon 7D and 400mm lens, my first ever, DSLR, I could't charge the battery fast enough to get out and try it.
Once on site near the eagle nest, I set my camera on the tripod. I focused on the eagles perched on the tree branch and took several photos. Not even knowing which setting to use, I left the camera on automatic. As I refocused and was ready to press the shutter, down came the eagle right towards me, then up, and over my head. Seconds later, the second eagle took off in nearly the same direction. I couldn't wait to get home and see what I had captured on this day.
