Whooping Crane, North Florida, United States of America
Whooping Crane Bathing

Species: Whooping Crane | Location: North Florida, United States of America

I was very fortunate to see this Whooping Crane at close range. Whoopers are an endangered species with less than 500 in existence. It is rare to see a Whooping Crane at all, let alone up close and doing something interesting. This is a rare photograph of a rare species of bird!
