Polar Bear Mom and Cub, Wapusk National Park, Canada
The Look of Innocence!

Species: Polar Bear Mom and Cub | Location: Wapusk National Park, Canada

Visiting Wapusk National Park, wishing to see the denning Polar bear Moms with her cubs, started off as a disaster as for first four days, either there was no sighting or 2 days of severe weather/Ice and snow storm when we just could not get out. And then on the 5th day, the scouting team found a couple of moms with cubs!!! This one was taken on the 6th/last day of my trip and what a thrill it was!! With heart pulsating fast, the sight of this part of nature was just undescribable, even with the fact that the temp was MINUS 45 OR 50 that day, without windchill! The look on this cubs face, seing any form of life (in our case, humans) for the first ever time was just precious!

About The Photographer

Nature has been my inspiration for as long as I can remember. For the last 10 years, I have been trying to freeze it in frame. Have I succeeded in capturing what I saw? Not at all. But have I frozen a trace of that scene in my imagery? I would hope so. I shall keep trying. The world is just so beautiful. We can not afford to lose it's beauty!
