Tarantula Hawk Feeding on Prey
Species: Tarantula Hawk | Location: Reserva Las Gralarias , Ecuador
This photo was taken in the later afternoon, while I was walking back from a survey. I saw the tarantula hawk regularly while in the reserve and this species was very hard to photograph. The Tarantula Hawk uses this tarantula as food for its offspring.
