Many ungulates had a very tough winter in Colorado. Record breaking snow forced Colorado Parks & Wildlife to institute a feed program to ease stresses on their populations. While this was a controversial decision, I believe we can all agree that it is nice to see herds of them, like these Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, doing well now that the snow has melted.
