Tree Swallow, Iowa, United States of America
Dancing Shadow

Species: Tree Swallow | Location: Iowa, United States of America

This was a tree swallow that was trying to find her/his mate. There were two of them dancing around each other for quite some time, not sure if they had a nest locally. It was amazing to see the fluidity of their actions.

About The Photographer

Hello, my name is Leslie and I hail from the great state of Iowa. I have two wonderful children! I am passionate about protecting the environment and all that live within it. I am new to photography at the ripe old age of 47 and I love every minute of it. All my images here are raw, no editing. Being able to capture a moment in time that you will never get back is important to me. I want to use photography as a venue for a cause such as environmental issues or animal/insect decline it's vital to the harmony of our planet. I don't have the typical wildlife in my state that is rugged such as lions, tigers, zebras, rhinos or elephants but to me all wildlife is important and they always give back to sustainability and do so unconditionally.
