Elephant/Lion, Chobe National Park, Botswana
PROTECTING THE YOUNG

Species: Elephant/Lion | Location: Chobe National Park, Botswana

I was on a wildlife safari drive in Chobe National Park, Botswana. I saw an elephant that had a young one with it. Suddenly a lion appeared out of the brush. The elephant and lion looked at each other, but no agressive moves occurred. The young elephant had disappeared into the brush behind the elephant in the picture, The lion went the opposite direction.
