MORTAL ENEMIES CROSS PATHS

Species: Lion/Black Rhinoceros | Location: Entabeni Conservancy, South Africa

While on a wildlife safari drive at Entabeni Conservancy in Limpopo Province, South Africa, I observed a male lion resting in the tall grass. About the same time, a black rhinoceros approached the lion. The lion calmly got up and walked away with the black rhinoceros following for a short distance. Then, each went in opposite directions.
