Polar Bear, Churchill Manitoba, Canada
Gotta a Coke?

Species: Polar Bear | Location: Churchill Manitoba, Canada

The year I turned 50 we took 50 trips and one of our big trips was a Natural Habitat trip to Churchill to see the polar bears. It was an amazing experience. This particular photo was taken when we were at the "lodge". The eyes of the polar bear are mesmerizing, so dark it's like you're looking into them. And, in reality, they're looking at you with the thought "how can I get to you to eat you?" since they're just coming out of hibernation. It's a once in a lifetime experience that I'd love to do again. This guy kept trying to get up to where we were on the platform.
