Young Mountain Goat
Species: Mountain Goat | Location: Mt Evans, Colorado, United States of America
We were at the top of Mt Evans, Colorado and the mountain goats were bedded down at the top. We sat down and were taking photos, maybe 30-50 ft away. It was bitterly cold but we stayed sitting to enjoy the beauty and wildlife. Then slowly the herd got up and started to move towards us. We stayed where we were and they basically walked around us. This little guy was inquisitive and approached to within 10 ft or so before scampering off.
