2017 Wildlife Photo Contest

Nile Crocodile, Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda
Croc Tail

Species: Nile Crocodile | Location: Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda

Taking a boat up the Nile river was passed countless numbers of crocodiles, large and small. What caught my eye about this one was how dried out it was from the sun. As we neared in our boat, the crocodile lazily slipped into a small puddle completely changing from dried brown to shining green in an instant. The large tail mostly in view highlights the ancient feeling these animals portray.

About The Photographer

Cropped dsc 2216
I picked up my first DSLR when I was invited to on an overseas trip to asia and have been hooked on photography since. As an amatuer, I truly enjoy opportunities to photograph wildlife above all else. Looking back at images of animal encounters take me right back to the moment and remind me how incredible wildlife viewing is.
