Species: Mountain Gorilla | Location: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park , Uganda
With the incredible buzz and excitement of meeting such an active family of gorillas, I crouched down on one knee to get a slightly different perspective and haphazardly set an action camera on the ground in front of me to clear my hands for better shooting.
Without realizing it, I had attracted to attention of this juvenile who bravely approached my position to learn more about why I was crouched low and possibly what it was that I has set down. Engrossed and both thrilled that this young gorilla was approaching I snapped a series of photos of his approach before my guide realized that the young gorillas was going for the loose camera on the ground. Luckily the guide was able to snatch it before this curious gorilla!
