Cheetah's Sunset Feast
Species: Cheetah | Location: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, United Republic of
This may be the most beautiful and amazing experience of my life. The sun was setting on the plains of the Serengeti, as a cheetah mother and her two cubs fed on a fresh gazelle kill. Cheetahs survival rate as a cub is roughly 5% with predators constantly looking to kill them. Yet there are some "Supermom" cheetah's that have extraordinary success in raising healthy cubs. Truly a remarkable animal.
