2017 Wildlife Photo Contest

Species: Lion | Location: Sabi Sabis - Londolozi Game Reserve, South Africa

These two lion cubs had no interest in resting and were playing between two resting female lions. As their play became more of a nuisance, the mother lion would growl as if to tell them to go back to taking a nap. Even though this picture was taken during the afternoon hours, this is how I feel when our 6 year old son wakes us up too early on Saturday morning and is ready to play.
