Leopard Stare
Species: Leopard | Location: Linyanti Concession, Botswana
The "Leopard Stare" photo was taken in the Linyanti Concession of Botswana. Just before sunset, we followed this young, independent male leopard as he was in search of his next meal. He stopped and bedded down in a high grassy area and surveyed the surrounding area. We watched him unsuccessfully stalk a warthog and as it was almost dark, he was showing interest in a herd of impala.
