Albino Squirrel

I looked out the window one morning to see this albino squirrel at the base of a white pine in our yard. There was a nest in the pine and over the next several weeks I watched as she and her normal-colored siblings grew in playfulness and boldness. She started going further from her home-base, but every few days she would return. It has been quite a few months now that she has been gone, but we will be looking for new little white squirrels in the area this year. It was quite a treat to see this albino squirrel in our own backyard.
