What a surprise to see such a colorful bird! We were so focused on large animals I almost did not notice this little guy sitting in a bush along the road. The colors were so delicate and unusual. With the sun shining brightly and the soft green background, the delicately soft image brings back favorite memories from Africa.
About The Photographer
Yvonne Hunter has been taking photographs since she was six when she received her first point and shoot film camera from her father. "Tell a story with your pictures," her father always advised. Now retired, Yvonne has more time to practice telling stories. She loves travel and embraces the magic of capturing images, whether they be of animals or people in Africa, or, birds and people closer to home.
