Species: Black Widow Spider | Location: Southern Arizona (Green Valley), United States of America
By Marilyn Luehrmann
I went out to take photos of the sunset, and encountered this black widow spider working on dinner. I spent at least 30 minutes photographing the insects and totally missed the sunset!
About The Photographer
Photography has been an interest since high school but the opportunity to fully pursue my interest came with retirement. I belong to the Green Valley Recreation Camera Club (the largest camera club in Arizona). Within the last year and a half I have been fortunate to have 2 of my photos published, have several photos hanging around town and elsewhere, and won a prize for my work. I was a photographer for the Southern Arizona Senior Games this spring. I photograph anything that interests me and like to be creative with my photography.
