This string bean like plant grows next to the guest parking in our neighborhood, and grows vertically vs. horizontal as shown in the photo. I noticed this beetle and stopped to take several photos but it was not until I got home and processed the photo that I realized what I great shot I had captured. I am encountering so many new varieties of wildlife now that I live in the desert Southwest.

Photography has been an interest since high school but the opportunity to fully pursue my interest came with retirement. I belong to the Green Valley Recreation Camera Club (the largest camera club in Arizona). Within the last year and a half I have been fortunate to have 2 of my photos published, have several photos hanging around town and elsewhere, and won a prize for my work. I was a photographer for the Southern Arizona Senior Games this spring. I photograph anything that interests me and like to be creative with my photography.
