Serengeti Cheetah and Her 5 Cubs

We arrived at the site in the Serengeti National Park at 5 a.m., silently awaiting something extraordinary. We first spotted the mother, tracked her, and then saw more and more cubs. Eventually, she took them atop an old termite mound. From there she was vigilant for predators as well as prey. The photos were taken from nearly a half kilometer away.
