A Watchful Eye
Species: Mallard Duck (Female) | Location: Aurora Farms, Aurora, OH, United States of America
At Aurora Farms' center sits a pond that Ohio wildlife enjoys to sit in/by. The most common visitors to this pond are Mallard Ducks and Canada Geese. There is a fence around the pond to keep people from interfering with the wildlife, but it does not keep the wildlife in the pond area. Many of the ducks will come over to the path and watch the people passing by. This female Mallard Duck was a little more cautious by staying behind the fence but was still fascinated by me and my camera. The fence created a perfect frame for her.
