King penguins, Volunteer Point, Falkland Islands (Malvinas)
The three tenors

Species: King penguins | Location: Volunteer Point, Falkland Islands (Malvinas)

On a cruise to South America and Antarctica, we made a trip to Volunteer Point on the Falkland Islands. This location is a very large rookery for King penguins (and Magellanics) and I happened to catch these three coming out of the water after an afternoon fishing trip.

About The Photographer

I've been a photographer for over 30 years and after retiring in 2013 I have been fortunate to travel throughout the world shooting wildlife photos. I've been to all seven continents and have particularly enjoyed Africa, Komodo Island and Alaska.
