Loggerhead Shrike Impaling a Gecko!

The Loggerhead Shrike is classified as a song bird, but this bird has a bird of preys attitude! It is the only bird species that will impale it's prey! I was very fortunate to be able to photograph this Shrike impaling a Gecko, not so fortunate for the Gecko!
