Freedom

Species: American Bald Eagle | Location: Stow, MAINE, United States of America

I watched this beautiful American Bald Eagle groom his/herself in a pine tree and noticed she /he was constantly checking the sky, finaly I saw what he/she was searching for.. its mate! as soon as the other eagle came into view closer, she / he excitedly flew off its perch with a feather still in her beak from grooming to join its mate for life in a beautiful flight over the mountains!

About The Photographer

Cropped ppshell2
photography for me started at a young age when I would sneak my sisters Kodak c-110 outside, I would save all my money to get the photos developed at a nearby pharmacy, they were nothing special to anyone but me I was so awed to capture anything and to be able to have it forever! I worked for 3 different portrait Studios which I really enjoyed. my passion for animals and wildlife also took hold of me at a very young age, always brining strays home, my mum was not happy about the snake lol! it was not until years latter I really feel I perfected myself with Wildlife Photography, the feeling I would get after presenting a customer with there portraits and seeing there happiness and gratitude was so satisfying ! when I started sharing my Wildlife photos I could see the pleasurable enjoyment people would feel by viewing them, with such gratification I have to share the joyfulness and good feelings my wildlife photos brings out in people, sometimes we forget to slow down and look around, there is such immense beauty surrounding us!
