I shot this photo from the hide at our lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve. We enjoyed the steady stream of animals to the waterhole . . . lions, elephants, rhinos, impalas, zebras, wart hogs, and many others. The hide is so close to the waterhole, we could hear the breathing, grunting and slurping of the elephants. One elephant was bold enough to reach into the hide and try to grab a camera from one of the guests. Getting so close to the animals was an experience that I will never forget.
