This image of a Coastal Brown Bear Spring Cub was captured in Lake Clark Alaska. It was a dream to experience these beautiful animals up-close in their natural habitat. Seeing and photographing a sow with spring cubs clamming on the beach at low tide in heavy rain was something I'll never forget.
For me, the playful antics and curiosity of a new cub is clearly evident in this image.
