Species: COastal Brown Bear | Location: Brooks Falls, Katmai National Park, Alaska, United States of America
Brooks Falls, Alaska. This yearling grizzly cub was bothering his mom in the river while she fished for salmon. Soon she'd had enough and sent him scurrying from the water and up a tree right next to the viewing platform where we were standing. His curiosity got the better of him and provided the best photo ops of our trip.
About The Photographer
I love the outdoors. The farther out, the better. Nature and wildlife photography is a natural extension of that. God created a beautiful world for us to enjoy and we haven''t completely screwed it up yet! The camera gives me a great excuse to get outside and gives me a whole new way of seeing things that I've looked at a thousand times.
