Little bee-eater, Okavango Delta, Botswana
Little bee-eater stares into the food locker

Species: Little bee-eater | Location: Okavango Delta, Botswana

Little bee-eaters have remarkable eyesight, heads always moving, flitting off a branch and landing again with the food it had spotted. Their behavior is strikingly similar to flycatchers. They have amazing eyesight to see their prey as well as they do. The lighting here was perfect and set the bird off well.
