Leopard, Hunda Island, Okavango Delta, Botswana
Stare down

Species: Leopard | Location: Hunda Island, Okavango Delta, Botswana

A female leopard we were following on Hunda Island in the Okavango Delta. According to the guide she was about 6 years old and had a hidden cub. I was entranced by how agile she was and missed the shot of her leaping into this tree. Then I realized she was staring straight to me. We stuck with her for awhile, but she wouldn't lead us to her cub. Quite an aware cat.
