The Little White One
Species: Anna's Hummingbird | Location: UC Santa Cruz Arboretum, United States of America
This very rare leucistic (white) Anna's hummingbird made his home at the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum last summer. He quickly became a local celebrity as birders and nature lovers came from all over in hopes of seeing him.
About The Photographer
I love the outdoors. The farther out, the better. Nature and wildlife photography is a natural extension of that. God created a beautiful world for us to enjoy and we haven''t completely screwed it up yet! The camera gives me a great excuse to get outside and gives me a whole new way of seeing things that I've looked at a thousand times.
