Great Horned Owls hatch in March. This is one of a pair of juveniles hunting along our road in August.
About The Photographer
Hugh Fraser is a retired educator who lives with his wife, Penny, at Setting Lake, Manitoba. He took up photography as a retirement project, and the pursuit of the perfect image has become his passion. Raised in mineral exploration camps, and having spent over fifty years in the Thompson area, his deeply rooted love of Northern Manitoba is evident in his work.
