Black Rhino, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Kenya
Life in a Time of Endangerment

Species: Black Rhino | Location: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Kenya

This was a dream come true to see a real life rhino, something so precious and delicate in a world where they are under constant threat from poachers. Not only was there one black rhino, but behind the female appeared her offspring... my heart leaped in joy. The baby would not leave her side, attached to her hip it seemed and what a beauty to see. Witnessing life and birth in a time of constant endangerment of such a majestic creature made me realize how precious and delicate they really are and how hard we need to fight to protect them for our future generations.
