My boyfriend and I were visiting Denali National Park in Alaska. We were lost trying to find the visitors center and had pulled over to a spot to see if the building was open. As we walked past a line of garbage and recycling bins, I saw a white line dart downward out of the corner of my eye. I was unsure of what I saw and I started looking around the garbage cans for answers. Then I saw this tiny little creature staring up at my from under the garbage can. The little guy just hung out and let me take photos of him.
About The Photographer
I have always had an interest in photography. From a young age, I would carry around disposable kodak cameras and document my life. When I was a teenager, I saved my babysitting money to buy my first digital camera. It was a tiny Sony camera, that probably had the same photo quality of smart phones today. However, at the time that was the biggest purchase I had ever made so I was stoked! Unfortunately, my camera melted in the summer heat shortly after I bought it. From there, I didn't get very serious about photography until my senior year of college. For the first time since I was enrolled, the school offered an introductory photography class, so I immediately signed up. My roommate at the time let me borrow her Nikon D3300 for the class. That class was by far my favorite class out of my college career. The class really opened up my mind to the possibilities with photography and I fell completely in love. After graduating, I bought myself a Nikon D7200 and have been reading different photography books to learn different methods, how to deal with harsh lighting an more. I will forever be a student of photography.
