Leopard

As we were returning to our camp in Serengeti National Park after a long day, the driver took a detour. There we found this, normally elusive leopard looking for a quick meal in a hare that was hiding in the bushes. It was late evening, low light but we were very close to the leopard. As it was staring intently at the location of its prey, I took this shot from the window of my jeep and at almost eye-level the leopard looked magnificent. Its eyes were intense and its spotted skin was glowing.
