Tiger, Bandhavgarh National Park, India
Eye of the Tiger

Species: Tiger | Location: Bandhavgarh National Park, India

I was on an early morning safari in Bandhavgarh National Park in India. This was the last day of our trip and we had still not sighted a tiger yet. Suddenly, when our jeep turned a corner there stood this magnificent animal, right under the tree in front of us. It turned its head ever so slowly, and stared straight into my camera. It was truly hypnotic, and I was mesmerized for a few seconds. The lighting was not very good, and I was sure this moment will pass very soon. I rested my camera on top of the jeep's railing, and clicked this shot.
