Baby Burrowing Owl yawning

My friend and I came across a burrowing owl nest and decided to watch from a distance. Eventually the sole baby came out of the nest and put on a good show for us. This photo was taken at the end of a yawn, but I really like how it appears it was sticking its tongue out at us!
