This is Buckaroo since he screamed and cried until mom let him on her back. Then after a few minutes she gave a good impression of a mechanical bull. This went on for a couple days. According to our awesome guide, Brad, Mom lost 2 cubs this summer and this little one was scared to be alone, but mom just wanted to fish...alone. Salmon were just arriving and she was hungry. It was sad and funny at the same time. Every day I wonder how they are doing. I never saw a mother bear use force to separate herself from her cub.
