These photographs have been taken on an organic spice and coffee plantation in the rain forests of Western Ghats of South India. The farming practices are based upon ecologically sustainable principles. Biodiversity is encouraged on the farm through leaving fallow areas, riparian stretches with as much wilderness as possible, integrated into the cropping areas. The rich biodiversity in the farm enables a balanced pest-predator relationship.
