Species: American Black Bear | Location: Great Smoky Mountains National Park, USA
After several days of watching for bears on a trip to Great Smoky Mountain National Park and coming up "bear-less", I was finally rewarded with a mother bear and cubs high in a large tree in Cades Cove. Here, on of the cubs stops on its climb to give mom a little nuzzle before finding the perfect branch for a nap.
