2016 Wildlife Photo Contest

Bald Eagle , Paint Lake Provincial Park, Canada
Sentry duty

Species: Bald Eagle | Location: Paint Lake Provincial Park, Canada

One of our favorite fishing spots had a family of Bald Eagles nesting near by. This young eagle seemed to have had enough of flying and fishing and found an inuksuk to roost on.

About The Photographer

Cropped img 1754 2

I've had the photography bug since I was a child & love taking pictures of wildlife and scenery. I have never set up a website nor sold photos professionally because for me sharing photos with friends and family is the same as baking a favorite treat and taking some to work to share with coworkers, it just feels good. I make calendars and cards as Christmas gifts and perhaps some day I will do that as a side income for retirement.
