Muddy Leopard
Species: Leopard | Location: Thornybush Reserve, South Africa
We watched this young female leopard sniff around a dried up watering hole for 20 minutes. She cautiously moved around the muddy area, hoping she wouldn't expose herself too much or get stuck in the mud. After some time she began to dig and uncovered exactly what she was looking for - an antelope carcass for dinner!
