The Turtle and the Anhinga

I was leading an educational bird tour at my golf club, Bonita Bay in Bonita Springs, Fl. and while we were
standing on an elevated tee over the lake you could see something in the distance. After looking through the binos I had to get closer to the subject but first had to take the group to another hole to see some alligators. Twenty minutes had passed and I thought there was no way that the anhinga was still there but it was and stayed another 10 minutes. What a treat for all to see!
